The fees are billed every month, via email, and paid in advance. Fees, currently ₤13.90 per session (plus a £1 per week supplementary fee to cover hall fees and the children’s snack provision), are fixed at the start of each session; the amount is set at the AGM. Full payment must reach playgroups bank account by 15th of the month, a late payment fee of £5 applies thereafter. Payment can be made through bank transfer and Cramond Playgroup does accept Childcare Vouchers from a number of providers and any parent can use this scheme to pay for session fees, the playgroup is also registered with the Tax Free Childcare system.
6 weeks notice is required for reducing or changing days. Please contact Katie if you wish to discuss changes to your session pattern.
The money raised from fees paid is just enough to cover wages, hall rental, snack and basic supplies. Fundraising is therefore essential to pay for new toys and treats such as Christmas parties and special events. Full support of fundraising events is imperative – without good fundraising fees would be much higher.
